Apply & track with Apply EdgeVice President – M&A, Investment BankingWe are seeking a Vice President – M&A to join our Riyadh investment-banking team.The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and coverage teams to identify strategic opportunities and will play a hands-on role in taking transactions from initial idea through to completion.This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong M&A banker who combines excellent transaction execution capabilities with commercial judgement and an ability to identify opportunities within existing client relationships.The role will also provide the opportunity to gain exposure to ECM mandates, working alongside the broader capital-markets team where relevant.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute M&A transactions across Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC, including acquisitions, disposals, mergers, JVs, strategic investments and other corporate transactions.Take a leading role in the day-to-day execution of transactions, coordinating internal teams, clients and external advisers.Build and review detailed financial models, including DCF, trading and transaction comparables, merger models, accretion/dilution analysis and scenario analysis.Lead valuation analysis and develop transaction structures and strategic alternatives.Prepare high-quality pitch books, board presentations, teasers, information memoranda and other transaction materials.Support senior bankers in client discussions and increasingly take ownership of client interactions and transaction workstreams.Identify and develop M&A opportunities from the bank’s balance-sheet, corporate banking and existing client relationships, working closely with relationship and coverage teams.The ideal candidate will have:6–10 years of investment banking experience, ideally with substantial M&A exposure.Strong experience in M&A execution, with a track record across the full transaction lifecycle.Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.Experience across mid-market and/or large-cap transactions; experience with both would be highly advantageous.GCC experience would be highly advantageous.
