Role DescriptionA Vice President – Investment Banking is responsible for leading investment banking transactions, managing client relationships, and providing financial and strategic advisory services. The role supports M&A, capital raising, corporate finance, and other complex financial transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead execution of investment banking transactions and advisory mandates.Manage client relationships and business development activities.Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and transaction assessments.Prepare financial models, pitch books, presentations, and transaction materials.Support M&A, IPOs, equity and debt offerings, and corporate finance transactions.Coordinate due diligence, transaction processes, and documentation.Analyze market, industry, company, and financial trends.Develop strategic recommendations and transaction proposals.Coordinate with clients, investors, legal advisors, auditors, and other stakeholders.Review transaction structures, financial assumptions, and valuation methodologies.Manage transaction timelines, deliverables, and internal resources.Support negotiations, term sheets, and transaction documentation.Monitor regulatory, market, and transaction requirements.Review analyst and associate work for accuracy and quality.Support senior management with strategic and commercial initiatives.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.Significant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, M&A, or financial advisory.Strong financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis skills.Experience with M&A, capital markets, fundraising, or corporate finance.Strong understanding of financial statements and corporate finance principles.Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and client management skills.Experience managing transaction teams, timelines, and multiple priorities.Strong commercial and financial awareness.CFA, MBA, ACCA, CPA, or related qualification is advantageous.UAE/GCC financial markets and regulatory experience is advantageous.High standards of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.Strong leadership, relationship management, and business development skills.
