Our organization is well on its way to being a multi-billion-dollar company, and we’re looking for people who share our visionWhat You Will Be DoingThe VP of Marketing will be responsible for building and leading a world-class, data-driven marketing organization and will work cross-functionally to develop the brand and drive the end-to-end marketing. He/she will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of all marketing initiatives and will ensure short and long-term market expansion. Specifically, this person will:Lead all aspects of the company’s marketing initiatives, including demand generation, brand, creative, product marketing, content marketing, communications, PR, events, insights and analytics.Develop an overarching marketing strategy to drive continued rapid revenue growth.Formulate marketing strategy aligned to the company strategy and execute and continually refine acquisition and retention programs.Build and lead a world class marketing organization by developing talent, hiring well, and scaling the team to meet aggressive ROI-driven goals.Manage the marketing budget and ROI-related KPIs.Exercise a data-centric approach to gather customer/user insights and improve marketing results based on such insights.Collaborate closely with executives across functions, particularly in Sales, to achieve company goals.Collaborate with Sales and business leaders to understand the buyers’ journey for each target market and then lead the creation of sales collateral and other tools to assist them in driving revenue.Oversee the strategy and execution for corporate communications including internal communications, public relations, analyst relations and social media.Ensure consistent and flawless execution of the brand across all customer touch-points.Interface regularly with other members of the executive leadership team and provide frequent input regarding changes in the marketplace, emerging customer needs, and contribute regularly to strategy discussions related to products, innovation, and new business.Roles/responsibilitiesBrand developmentPublic relations/influencer managementDemand creationCustomer marketing strategyPartner marketing strategyProduct marketingEvent strategyMarketing technology strategyThe Must-havesWorld-class B2B Marketing skills Innovative and creative thinking balanced with pragmatism Organizational leadership and team development Intellectual horsepower Drives for results in a prioritized manner Complex problem-solving, especially hands-on abilityOrganized and attention-to-detail approachExperience and passion for working with complexity, specifically different verticals with different maturity stages and addressable markets.Player/Coach ability to be both a leader and a hands-on ‘doer’.Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or relevant field.Master's degree in marketing or related field or an MBA is highly desirable.8+ years of progressive Marketing leadership experience, preferably in the SaaS technology/software space and B2B.Proven ability to tie demand creation efforts directly to sales pipeline, including inbound marketing and lead management; direct response marketing, lead nurturing and teleprospecting; with a track record of aligning with sales around these tasks.Marketing – B2B and Digital Marketing experience in the SaaS industry. Experienced in digital marketing, generating awareness and demand through the full marketing mix across all media. Familiar with marketing automation systems (preferably HubSpot). A demonstrated track record of success and performance.Entrepreneurial Experience – Ideally, experience with a start-up, or early-stage venture is highly desired. This would ideally be with a growth-stage company, a more progressive brand that is disruptive in its market, with a Marketing approach that is cutting-edge.Organizational Development – Experience recruiting, hiring, managing, developing, motivating and direct reports.
