Viveka Health focuses on creating a seamless digital experience that improves transparency, convenience, and engagement for members and partners.Role Description The Vice President of Engineering is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Miami Beach, FL, responsible for guiding the technical vision and execution of Viveka Health’s products and platforms. This role oversees engineering teams, sets objectives and key results, and ensures timely, high-quality delivery of software solutions that support benefits administration and member engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing development roadmaps, collaborating with product and operations teams, prioritizing projects, and implementing best practices in architecture, security, and scalability. The Vice President of Engineering will recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent, foster a culture of accountability and innovation, and continuously improve processes to align technology initiatives with business goals.Qualifications Strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills to build, guide, and scale high-performing technical teams.Deep experience in Software Development, including modern architectures, APIs, cloud platforms, and secure coding practices.Proficiency in Project Management to plan, prioritize, and deliver complex initiatives on schedule and within scope.Background in Product Development, collaborating closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to shape roadmaps and features.Proven track record in senior engineering or technical leadership roles, ideally within healthtech, fintech, or enterprise SaaS.Ability to define and communicate technical strategy, drive alignment across teams, and manage change in a fast-paced environment.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is beneficial.Experience with regulatory and security considerations in healthcare or benefits administration is a plus.
