You'll partner closely with our C-suite and product leadership to define and execute the technical strategy that will shape the future of Aspect.What You'll Do● Architect for Scale: Oversee the architecture and development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems that meet our users' needs and our business's requirements.● Build and Empower Teams: Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering organization. You'll be responsible for hiring top talent, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture, and providing clear career paths for our engineers.● Drive Excellence: Establish and promote engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, deployment strategies, and operational excellence. You'll ensure our teams are not only moving fast but also delivering with quality.● Collaborate Broadly: Work closely with cross-functional partners in Product, Design, Data Science, and Operations to translate big ideas into tangible products and features. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences is key.● Manage Resources: Own the engineering budget and ensure the efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.● Lead Engineering Transformation: Spearhead the modernization of legacy technology stacks, guiding the team through the transition to cloud-native, scalable architectures and modern development practices.Who You Are● A seasoned engineering leader with 15+ years of experience in software development, with a significant portion of that time spent in a senior leadership role (Director, Sr. Director, or VP).● You have a proven track record of scaling and managing large engineering teams (100+ employees).● You possess deep technical expertise in software architecture, cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and modern development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).● You are an empathetic and inspiring leader who prioritizes people and culture. You understand that building great teams is the foundation of building great products.● You are an exceptional communicator and collaborator, capable of building strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.● You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a bias for action and a relentless focus on delivering results.● You have a proven track record of leading complex engineering transformations, successfully transitioning organizations from legacy technologies to modern, scalable cloud environments.
