Vice President of Global MarketsPosition OverviewWe are seeking an accomplished and commercially driven Vice President of Global Markets to lead the development, execution, and expansion of the organization’s global markets strategy.This executive will be responsible for identifying international market opportunities, expanding institutional and strategic relationships, driving revenue growth, and strengthening the company’s competitive position across global financial markets.The Vice President of Global Markets will work closely with executive leadership, investment teams, finance, risk, compliance, product, and regional business leaders to develop scalable market strategies and deliver sustainable long-term growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the company’s global markets strategy, aligned with overall corporate objectives and long-term growth priorities.Lead international market expansion initiatives across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and other strategic regions.Identify emerging market opportunities, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and potential sources of revenue growth.Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, financial institutions, strategic partners, corporate clients, market participants, and other key stakeholders.Drive business development and revenue-generation initiatives across global markets.Establish market-entry strategies, regional operating models, commercial partnerships, and growth plans for new markets.Monitor global economic, financial, regulatory, and geopolitical developments and evaluate their potential impact on business strategy.Partner with investment, trading, treasury, finance, risk, compliance, and product teams to ensure effective execution of global market initiatives.Develop market intelligence and executive-level reporting to support strategic decision-making.Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to revenue, market penetration, client growth, transaction volume, profitability, and regional performance.Lead pricing, commercial strategy, client segmentation, and market positioning initiatives where applicable.Evaluate strategic alliances, joint ventures, distribution partnerships, acquisitions, and other opportunities that can accelerate international growth.Support the development of institutional and enterprise-level client strategies.Ensure global market activities operate within applicable regulatory, compliance, risk-management, and governance frameworks.Develop scalable processes and operating structures to support international expansion.Work with regional leadership teams to establish consistent standards while adapting strategies to local market conditions.Identify operational and commercial risks associated with new markets and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.Present global market performance, opportunities, risks, and strategic recommendations to the CEO, executive committee, and board-level stakeholders.Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing global markets and regional business teams.Build a performance-oriented culture focused on accountability, commercial excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth.Strategic LeadershipThe Vice President of Global Markets will serve as a senior strategic leader responsible for connecting global market intelligence with commercial execution.The successful candidate will be expected to balance long-term strategic planning with hands-on execution, identifying where the organization should compete, how it should enter new markets, and how it can establish sustainable competitive advantages.This role requires strong commercial judgment, international business expertise, financial-market knowledge, and the ability to operate effectively across complex global organizations.Qualifications15+ years of progressive experience in global markets, financial services, investment management, capital markets, institutional sales, trading, corporate strategy, or a related field.7+ years of senior leadership experience managing global, regional, or multi-market businesses.Demonstrated experience developing and executing international market expansion strategies.Strong understanding of global financial markets, market structures, investment products, and institutional client relationships.Proven record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships.Experience working with senior executives, institutional clients, investors, financial institutions, and strategic partners.Strong financial, commercial, analytical, and business-development capabilities.Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-border initiatives and multinational teams.Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.Strong understanding of risk management, corporate governance, and regulatory considerations within global markets.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics,
