Vice President of Infrastructure

About the OpportunityA growing managed IT services provider is seeking an experienced infrastructure and cloud executive to lead a portfolio of enterprise clients while helping shape and expand its Infrastructure and Cloud Management Services practice.In this client-facing leadership role, you will act as a trusted technology advisor, providing strategic guidance across cloud, infrastructure, service delivery, and operational excellence. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, internal engineering teams, and practice leadership to deliver long-term business value.What You'll DoAct as the senior infrastructure and cloud advisor for a portfolio of enterprise clients.Develop cloud and infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals.Lead architecture and governance across on premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.Oversee major incidents, operational performance, and continual service improvement.Present recommendations to executive stakeholders and build trusted client relationships.Support solution design, business development, and practice growth.Mentor engineering teams and help establish delivery standards and best practices.What You'll Bring12+ years of IT experience, including senior infrastructure and cloud leadership within managed services or consulting.Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, AWS, and enterprise infrastructure.Experience leading cloud strategy, service delivery, and major incident management.Executive presence with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Commercial mindset with the ability to align technology initiatives to business outcomes.Preferred:Experience in a fractional executive or virtual CIO role.Cloud architecture and IT service management certifications.Knowledge of DevOps, infrastructure as code, containerization, and cybersecurity frameworks.What's In It For YouExecutive leadership role with real influence on a growing practice.Opportunity to work with enterprise clients on complex cloud and infrastructure initiatives.Competitive salary, performance bonus, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing professional development.Interested?
