While we specialize in hard-to-find parts, we source, manufacture, and repair an extensive range of parts across multiple verticals.About the RoleThe VP of Supplier Management owns the end-to-end third-party vendor lifecycle, supplier governance, and strategic sourcing operations. You will lead a high-performing team and partner closely with Legal, Finance, and Technology executives to align supplier capability with enterprise goals.This is a full-time position. This is an onsite position from our Camarillo, CA office.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains relationship with vendors or suppliers and negotiates contracts for major purchasesDirector reviews vendor quality and maintains price controls and inventory flows to identify and implement efficient purchasing programsSupervisory Responsibility – Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Management Responsibility – Managing all activities for the department in order to meet or exceed company goals. Recruit and train new employees.Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgetsQualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, CPIM) are strongly preferred.Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, vendor/supplier management, procurement, or third-party risk, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior leadership capacity.Financial Acumen: Proven track record managing large multi-million or billion-dollar supplier spends and delivering year-over-year cost savings.Technical Proficiency: Deep familiarity with ERP software, procurement platforms, and data analytics/reporting tools.
