XOOM STUDIOS adds a creative dimension with graphic design, animation, and video production, helping clients elevate their brands across digital and traditional media.Role Description The Vice President of Tech is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Riverside, CA, responsible for overseeing the technology strategy and operations across XOOM SERVERS, XOOM PRODUCTIONS, and XOOM STUDIOS. This role leads cross-functional tech teams, ensuring reliable infrastructure, secure hosting environments, and scalable systems that support the company’s growth. The Vice President of Tech will define and implement technology roadmaps, manage budgets, and establish standards for software development, cybersecurity, and IT service delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with executive leadership, prioritizing projects, mentoring technical staff, and driving innovation in hosting platforms, IT solutions, and production workflows. The role also involves vendor management, risk assessment, and aligning technology initiatives with business goals and client needs.QualificationsProven leadership in technology organizations, including experience managing multi-disciplinary tech teams and large-scale infrastructure or platforms.Strong background in systems architecture, network administration, cloud or hosting environments, and IT operations management.Experience with software development lifecycle, DevOps practices, and modern security and compliance standards.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technology strategy aligned with business objectives, including budgeting and resource planning.Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with executive leadership and clients.Track record of driving innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence in fast-paced, service-oriented environments.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, AWS, Linux) are a plus.Experience in hosting, IT services, or digital media/creative industries is highly beneficial, along with familiarity with Linux-based systems and control panels.
