Apply & track with Apply EdgePosition Summary:The Vice President, Technology will oversee planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and security of the Enterprise information systems, personnel, and processes. This position reports to the CEO.ResponsibilitiesManage all aspect of Premier’s technology including Application Development, IT Infrastructure and Managed ServicesCreates, maintains, and executes Enterprise Software plan to align with business objectivesDesign and drive the architecture roadmap for our operating platforms for both applications and infrastructureOversees the IT management schedules and responsibilities. Holds IT staff accountable to SLAs and adherence to guidelines / best practicesImplement and monitors IT OKRs and success metricsShare performance metrics with SLT & stakeholdersMaintains current network security knowledge and develops a security strategy to meet the needs of the businessPrioritize and manage internal IT projects ensuring proper resource planningInstill a build/ run execution model for the technology departmentOversee and nurture the DevOps sprint framework, while managing overall successStaffing, Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains staffAttracting, developing, rewarding, and retaining employees for the benefit of both the employees as individuals and the organizationEnsure the right people are in the right rolesForecasting to right size up/down as necessary to meet organizational goalsEstablish succession planning for key positionsContinually work with the Executive team to align on organizational goalsIntroduce and lead digital initiativesWork with cross-functional departments to evolve systems and recommend new technologies geared towards continuous improvement of processes and operations maximizing efficiencyStay abreast of the industry and recommend new ways of doing thingsDevelop, manage, and track IT department’s annual budget and accounting. This may include billbacks to customers and internal cost allocationsEnsure value has been added to the business through tracking of cost savings and ROI analysesEstablish cadence for regular communication with team to ensure alignment and prioritiesCommunicate effectively with external parties including customers, board members, investors, vendors, business partners, etcEstablish a good relationship with business leadersCreate successful relationships with strategic vendor partnersSelection, management, and termination of vendorsReview, negotiate, and manage contractsEstablish controls/processes around costs to manage expenses with vendorsEnsure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performanceDirecting the effective delivery of networks, application development, and disaster recovery systems and processesIdentifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvementContinually work with the business to fully understand technology pain points and areas of improvementInterface closely with customers and senior technology counterparts to listen and provide consultation to improve required solutionsPerform due diligence on acquisition candidates to expand business. Provide information for divestitures. Post transition integration or separationDevelop, implement, and maintain information security and risk management strategyImplement and maintain policies and procedures needed for operational excellence and regulatory requirements (NIST, CMMC, etc.)Mature and standardize our testing, data governance, and release management for high quality deliveryLead initiatives to improve latency, scalability, and flexibility of our systemsPerforms other duties as assigned.Skills and SpecificationsBachelor’s degree required preferably in a field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldMBA or Masters of Computer Science is preferred10 + years of experience working in IT management, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projectsProven experience to drive product development and ability to provide technical leadershipExcellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systemsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organizationStrong customer service focusExcellent leadership and decision-making skillsKnowledge of Scrum Agile processesPhysical Requirements, with or without accommodationProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerAbility to walk and stand in production floor operations for extended periods of timeAbility to periodically perform work in non-climate-controlled areas.Equal Employment OpportunityThe success of Premier Logitech is due to the contributions of employees from diverse backgrounds, national origins, and heritage.
