Vice President of Technology

VP of Technology & Digital | New York City | Hybrid$200K–$250K base + bonus + benefitsWe’re looking for a VP of Technology & Digital to join a global media business at a pivotal point in its evolution. This is not a maintenance role. It’s a build-and-transform opportunity: leading major technology integrations in a new global group structure, modernising the existing IT estate, and building the digital capabilities that will improve client outcomes and support growth.Based in Manhattan, NYC, hybrid 2 days per week onsite, you’ll report to the Global Head of Data & AI and inherit 5 globally placed reports.You’ll have two core priorities in this role:Lead technology integrationOwn the technology integration roadmap and executionBuild a clear 90-day plan, manage dependencies and mitigate delivery riskLead integration across core platforms including ERP, CRM and other global systemsEnsure data integrity, operational continuity and clear ownership throughout the transitionIdentify technology synergies and opportunities across the combined organisationWork closely with global technology teams and stakeholders across the wider groupBuild the future technology capabilityModernise the internal technology estate and introduce scalable operating standardsAct as the key bridge between technology and the wider businessLead and develop a globally distributed technology teamWork closely with the Head of Data & AI to enable data, analytics and AI initiativesImprove client-facing technology across delivery, reporting, project management and digital workflowsDevelop a digital/product mindset focused on client and commercial impactIdentify opportunities to use technology and AI to create new, scalable client offeringsThe first 12+ months will be heavily integration-focused, followed by a broader transformation agenda across CRM, ERP, digital platforms and technology-enabled growth.What we're looking forYou’ll ideally have:Clear technology leadership experience in global/group structures and internationally distributed teamsExperience leading technology within a professional/services-led businessDirect M&A integration experience, having owned and delivered integration workstreamsStrong understanding of ERP, CRM, HR and data platformsStrong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersA pragmatic, hands-on leadership style and a track record of modernising technology while maintaining operational stabilityThe opportunityYou’ll inherit an existing team and foundation, but have the mandate to make changes, modernise the function and build what comes next.This is an opportunity to have a significant impact across both the local business and the wider global group, with international technology professionals reporting into you and the opportunity to shape the technology strategy as the business grows.If you’re a technology leader who wants to move beyond running IT and instead build technology that enables growth, integration and better client outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.Location: Manhattan, NYC hybrid, 2 days per week onsiteCompensation: $200K–$250K base + bonus + benefitsTravel: Quarterly US and occasional international travel requiredRight to work: Sponsorship currently not available for this role, please only apply if you have valid US RTW.If you're based in NYC and feel you meet the criteria, please email Mike@thedeveloperlink.io for faster review using the subject line "NYC VP"
