Vice President of OperationsConfidential Search | Multi-Site ManufacturingPosition Summary - Onsite Required in PennsylvaniaA growing manufacturing organization seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead its manufacturing sites and improve performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement. Reporting to the President, this leader will translate business strategy into operating plans, strengthen the leadership team, and scale operations to support growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day operations across multiple manufacturing locations, with accountability for operating results and financial performance.Establish clear performance measures and review results regularly to identify risks, remove obstacles, and drive corrective action.Develop and execute Lean and continuous improvement strategies that improve productivity, quality, delivery, and cost.Build operating plans and budgets; manage capital spending, operating expenses, and overhead to meet financial goals.Partner with senior leaders across functions to align capacity, workforce plans, and operational priorities with business needs.Develop site leaders and create a culture of accountability, collaboration, open communication, safety, and employee growth.Identify training needs and ensure teams have the skills and support required to perform effectively.Evaluate emerging technologies and operating practices that could improve performance or support growth.Ensure compliance with applicable labor, safety, and environmental requirements and uphold high ethical standards.QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; advanced degree preferred.At least 15 years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience, including senior operational leadership in a multi-site environment.Demonstrated success scaling operations and improving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.Strong command of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement; Lean Black Belt certification preferred.Experience managing budgets, capital investments, and financial performance, including profit and loss accountability for a business or operation with more than $50 million in annual revenue.Ability to lead complex initiatives, use data to make decisions, and work effectively across functions.Strong executive communication skills and a record of developing capable leaders.This is an onsite role based in Pennsylvania. (must be open to relocation / lives within commutable distance)
