Vice President of Site Operations – Data CentersThe Vice President of Operations will provide strategic and hands-on leadership across multiple mission-critical data center campuses, oversee site operations, lead facility teams, drive operational excellence, and serve as a key liaison between customers, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams.Why This Role?This is a high-growth, highly visible data center platform at an important stage of its evolution. This is an opportunity to build, scale & shape operational standards across a growing portfolio of mission-critical data center campuses.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic and hands-on operational leadership across multiple data center campuses.Lead, mentor, and develop site leaders and technical operations teams.Ensure consistent execution of maintenance, incident, change management, safety, security, and compliance programs.Oversee operational readiness for new facility go-lives, including staffing, processes, and budgets.Manage operational budgets, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.Serve as a senior escalation point for critical facility incidents and customer operational issues.Partner with Delivery, Commissioning, Engineering, Customer Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Success teams.Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders while driving a high-performance culture.

Preferred Qualifications

Progressive leadership experience in data center operations, critical facilities, or similarly complex environments such as hospitals or advanced manufacturing.Proven experience leading multi-site operations and large technical teams.Strong understanding of complex electrical and mechanical systems supporting mission-critical facilities.Experience managing critical incidents, operational escalations, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives.Strong leadership, coaching, customer relationship, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, customers, and executive leadership.Working knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and applicable safety/regulatory standards.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.Must be comfortable providing hands-on leadership and after-hours support during critical operational situations.
