Vice President Operations

About the OpportunityHeartcoR Solutions is looking for an experienced Vice President of Operations to join our executive leadership team during an exciting period of growth.Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Operations will lead operational execution across our clinical operations, project execution, data operations, inventory and logistics functions. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for translating company strategy into scalable operating plans and ensuring disciplined execution from study contract through closeout.We are looking for a leader who understands the clinical core lab environment, knows how to build strong teams and operating processes, and can balance strategy with hands-on execution.What You'll LeadProvide executive leadership across the Operations organization, developing high-performing teams with clear accountability and strong cross-functional collaboration.Lead operational execution from study contract through closeout, supporting study plans, budgets, timelines, resource requirements and customer commitments.Build scalable operational systems, workflows and reporting practices to support continued company growth.Develop annual operational plans aligned with growth requirements, resource needs, quality objectives and process-improvement priorities.Establish and report meaningful KPIs and operational metrics to the CEO and Executive Team.Own operational forecasting and proactively identify capacity constraints, execution risks and opportunities for improvement.Partner closely with the CEO, Management Team and Business Development to support strategic planning, customer engagement and growth initiatives.Strengthen collaboration and communication across departments.Oversee performance management, coaching, development and training compliance across the Operations Team.Maintain a strong understanding of customer needs, industry trends and opportunities to continuously improve how we operate.What We're Looking ForThe right candidate will bring:Minimum of 5 years of operations leadership experience at the Senior Director or Vice President level within the clinical core lab industry.Strong experience in clinical study execution, resource planning, forecasting, operational metrics and process improvement.Experience leading global, multi-site, hybrid and/or remote teams.Demonstrated ability to develop leaders, delegate effectively and create accountability across an organization.Strong analytical and strategic-planning capabilities.Executive-level communication and presentation skills.A leadership style that is collaborative, adaptable, organized and comfortable operating in a growth-oriented environment.
