Vice President, Perioperative Services | Denver, ColoradoFull-Time | Days | No Weekends | Executive LeadershipLead a high-volume surgical service line in one of the Rocky Mountain region's largest health systems.We're partnering with a well-respected, Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Denver to find a Vice President of Perioperative Services. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned perioperative or surgical services leader to step into an executive role with real strategic influence, reporting directly to the hospital COO.The Scope23 operating rooms across two locations (13 in the main OR, 10 on the other side of the hospital)Approximately 750 surgical cases per monthPrimarily elective outpatient: bariatrics, orthopedics, GYN, plastics and reconstruction125 FTEs, with a Director of Surgical Services and 3 managers reporting up through this roleWhat You'll DoLead strategic planning and business development for the surgical service line, including new service offerings, technology advances, and referral network growthDrive quality, patient safety, and evidence-based practice, and reduce clinical variationPartner with surgeons and the medical staff to strengthen alignment, engagement, and ease of practiceOwn throughput strategy: capacity planning, volume forecasting, and patient flowDevelop and manage operating and capital budgets, supply and labor costs, and ROI on growth initiativesBuild, coach, and retain a high-performing leadership team and workforceElevate the patient experience and ensure regulatory complianceWhat You BringBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferredRegistered Nurse in the State of Colorado (or Compact license)5+ years of surgical services experience in an acute care settingMinimum 2–3 years of Director-level experienceProven record in OR operations, financial stewardship, and physician partnershipCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $156,000 – $200,000 (based on experience)17.5% incentive bonusRelocation assistance availableMedical plan options (including an HSA option) with free in-network preventive care and unlimited telemedicine visitsDental and vision coverage401(k) with a 100% employer match up to 9% of pay, based on years of serviceEmployee stock purchase plan at a 10% discountCompany-paid basic life insurance, plus short- and long-term disabilityGenerous PTO that grows with tenure, plus 14 days of paid family leaveTuition assistance up to $5,250 per year, student loan repayment assistance, and adoption and fertility benefitsCharitable donation matching and volunteer rewardsMoving, mortgage, and real estate assistanceReady to lead at the next level?
