This position is employed by FP Strategies.More about us: www.robostrategy.coRole OverviewWe are seeking three Vice Presidents, Private Wealth, to build RoboStrategy’s presence with private wealth channels across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. We are hiring one each in Hong Kong, Singapore and the Gulf, as listed under Open roles below.You will introduce RoboStrategy to the private banks, independent and external asset managers, multi-family offices and wealth platforms serving professional investors in your market and the surrounding region, and build the relationships that make us part of their clients’ portfolios. You will turn interest into lasting coverage, represent our strategy with credibility, and bring market feedback back to the team, all within the regulatory framework that applies to this activity.What You’ll Do
- Build coverage of your market. Map and prioritize the private wealth channels in your market, and develop relationships with their investment, product and advisory teams.
- Secure platform access. Guide private banks and wealth platforms through their due diligence and onboarding processes so that their advisors can offer access to BOT.
- Represent the strategy. Present our approach and portfolio to intermediaries and professional investors, and bring in senior leadership for the most important relationships.
- Extend coverage across the region. Build relationships with wealth channels serving clients across Greater China from Hong Kong, Southeast Asia from Singapore, or the wider Middle East from the Gulf, where regulation permits.
- Develop the team. Help hire, mentor and guide our private wealth associates as our international coverage grows, and work closely with your counterparts and our regional growth leads.
- Bring market insight back. Track demand, competing products and investor feedback across the region, and help shape how RoboStrategy is positioned in your markets.
- Operate within a regulated framework. Conduct all activity within local licensing requirements and our compliance policies, including approved materials, investor eligibility restrictions and recordkeeping.Core Qualifications
- 6 to 12 years of experience covering private banks, independent or external asset managers, family offices or wealth platforms in your market, ideally at an asset manager or fund distributor.
- An established network across the private wealth community in your market, built over years in the region.
- Experience taking funds or alternative investment products through private bank due diligence and onboarding.
- The licenses or registrations required in your market, such as those of the Securities and Futures Commission (Hong Kong), the Monetary Authority of Singapore, or the DFSA, FSRA or Capital Market Authority (Gulf), or eligibility to obtain them promptly.
- Fluency in English, plus Cantonese for the Hong Kong role. Mandarin is a strong plus in Asia, and Arabic is a strong plus in the Gulf.
- Clear, credible communication with sophisticated investors and investment committees.
- AI-native in how you work, using AI tools daily for research, preparation and coverage, consistent with our AI-first approach.Ideal Candidate Profile
- Has built coverage from the ground up, ideally for a newer or specialist investment product.
- Respected by private bankers and family office principals, who take your calls and value your judgment.
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed, and comfortable as the firm’s senior on-the-ground presence in the region.
- Able to show measurable progress within the first months in the role.
- Disciplined about compliance in a cross-border, regulated business.
