Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are seeking a Vice President, Regulatory Remediation to support the management and resolution of significant regulatory, audit, and internally identified issues across the organization.Working closely with senior remediation leadership, this individual will coordinate remediation activities across business and control functions, monitor corrective actions, and help ensure commitments are completed thoroughly and on schedule. The role requires strong organizational skills, regulatory judgment, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.The Vice President will also play an important role in governance activities, including preparing executive and Board materials, coordinating remediation meetings, tracking actions and milestones, and maintaining documentation supporting issue closure.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate remediation initiatives: Support complex regulatory and audit remediation efforts from planning through closure, helping business teams establish action plans, deliverables, governance, and timelines.Monitor corrective actions: Track remediation plans, milestones, KPIs, dependencies, and outstanding actions, escalating delays or concerns when appropriate.Support root cause analysis: Partner with remediation teams to identify underlying causes and help ensure corrective actions address identified control or process weaknesses.Engage key stakeholders: Coordinate across business units, compliance, risk, audit, regulatory affairs, and other functions to maintain alignment and progress.Support regulatory matters: Assist with regulatory responses, remediation-related communications, supporting documentation, and preparation for regulatory engagement.Prepare senior-level reporting: Draft clear reporting and status updates for executive management, governance committees, the Board, and regulatory audiences.Maintain remediation standards: Support the administration and ongoing maintenance of remediation procedures and monitor adherence to established requirements.Manage governance activities: Coordinate meetings for remediation governance forums, including scheduling, preparation of meeting materials, minutes, action-item tracking, and follow-up.Maintain supporting evidence: Coordinate documentation and evidence demonstrating completion of remediation commitments and supporting issue closure.Required Experience5+ years of relevant experience in regulatory remediation, compliance, risk management, audit, or a related discipline, preferably within financial services, insurance, or another highly regulated environment.Experience supporting or leading complex remediation programs, including coordination of timelines, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.Strong understanding of financial-services regulatory requirements and regulatory change, ideally including exposure to Regulation HH, CPMI-IOSCO principles, and PFMI.Experience with risk assessments, control testing, data lineage, evidence mapping, and corrective action monitoring.Demonstrated ability to coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and maintain accountability for remediation commitments.Experience developing clear materials and reporting for senior management, Board, governance, or regulatory audiences.QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, law, business, or a related field.Professional certifications in audit, accounting, risk, compliance, or project management—such as CPA, CIA, or comparable credentials—are advantageous.
