Southeast Region, United StatesOn-site with domestic and international travelRelocation within the United StateVice President, Security Services & Chief Security OfficerSummary / OverviewThe Vice President, Security Services Division & Chief Security Officer (CSO) is the executive leader accountable for enterprise-wide physical security strategy and program governance, threat and risk mitigation, and operational performance across our client’s global footprint. This role protects people, facilities, and assets through an integrated, intelligence-driven security program aligned with the organization’s mission and enterprise risk priorities.This is an exceptional opportunity for a collaborative, agile security leader with private-sector experience in large, complex multinational organizations. Someone who builds consensus and communicates a clear vision to diverse internal and external stakeholders will excel in this role. The ideal candidate will lead with humility, adapt their approach to the audience and circumstances, and foster a transparent, client-focused working environment.ResponsibilitiesOwn a multi-year security roadmap, correlative budget, and KPIs/dashboards that demonstrate risk reduction, service quality, and ROI to senior leadership and the Board.Oversee physical security operations and risk management, including workplace violence, geopolitical/ community threats, and all-hazards emergency events, ensuring compliance with TJC, CMS, OSHA, and DHS standards.Lead executive protection and special operations programs for senior leadership, the Board, key events, high‑risk travel, and sensitive investigations.Direct enterprise workplace violence prevention and threat management, integrating reporting channels, investigations, and law-enforcement partnerships.Set strategy for physical security technologies (access control, video, weapons detection, duress, mass notification, analytics) and drive innovation and adoption across the enterprise.Lead a large, geographically dispersed security workforce and optimize vendor and law‑enforcement partnerships to deliver consistent, high‑quality protection.Partner with emergency management and business continuity to prepare for, respond to, and recover from major physical security incidents and all‑hazards events.Collaborate with the CISO, Legal, HR, Operations, and additional leadership on converged risks and enterprise risk management, while maintaining clear boundaries around cyber and IT security ownership.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, business, public administration or related field; advanced degree preferred.15+ years of progressive experience in corporate security, government law enforcement agencies, or related fields, including significant leadership of large, multi-site programs.Demonstrated track record leading enterprise-scale security operations, workplace violence prevention, and executive protection with ownership of substantial budgets and headcount.Proven ability to operate as a strategic enterprise risk leader, integrating physical security into ERM, presenting to C‑suite/Board, and influencing decisions with clear metrics and business language.Strong leadership and change-management skills in large, matrixed, and geographically dispersed organizations, including building high-performing teams and managing vendors/partners at scale.Advanced competency in modern physical security technologies, intelligence-led decision making, and cross-functional collaboration.Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.Thank you for applying for this position on LinkedIn!
