Vice President – Strategic Business FinanceAbout the OpportunityA well-established organization is seeking an experienced finance executive to lead a strategic finance function within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for partnering with senior stakeholders to drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and enhance business outcomes through insightful analysis, planning, and commercial leadership. The successful candidate will lead a sizeable finance team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a broad strategic finance function supporting multiple business areas.Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights that drive business performance and informed decision-making.Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and performance reporting.Drive commercial analysis, investment evaluations, business cases, and profitability improvement initiatives.Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and sustainable growth.Lead finance transformation initiatives through process optimization, automation, and the adoption of data-driven decision-making.Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and compliance with corporate policies.Build strong cross-functional partnerships to support strategic priorities and organizational objectives.Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team, creating a culture focused on excellence, innovation, and continuous development.What We're Looking For12+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership, including strategic finance, financial planning, business partnering, or commercial finance.Demonstrated success leading large, high-performing teams within complex organizations.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate financial insights into business actions.Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting, business performance management, investment analysis, and strategic decision support.Experience leading transformation, process improvement, or finance modernization initiatives.Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.An MBA or professional finance qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent) is considered an advantage.Why Join?This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established organization where finance plays a central role in shaping business strategy and long-term success.
