Vice President - TMT Investment Banking

I am partnering with a highly regarded mid-market investment bank in London to appoint a Vice President within its Technology, Media and Telecommunications team.The firm has built a strong reputation for advising founder-led businesses, private equity sponsors and international corporates on high-profile mid-market transactions. With an active pipeline and continued investment in its TMT franchise, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced investment banker to take on significant execution and client responsibility within an entrepreneurial, collaborative platform.The roleAs Vice President, you will play a central role in the origination and execution of M&A and capital-raising transactions across the TMT sector. You will work closely with senior bankers and clients while leading deal teams and supporting the development of junior colleagues.Your responsibilities will include:Leading day-to-day execution across buy-side and sell-side M&A, private capital and strategic advisory mandatesManaging transaction workstreams, due diligence processes, client communications and external advisersReviewing financial models, valuations, transaction materials and investment analysisDeveloping client presentations, information memoranda, management presentations and marketing materialsActing as a key point of contact for management teams, shareholders, private equity sponsors and corporate clientsManaging, mentoring and developing Analysts and AssociatesSupporting senior bankers with sector coverage, pitch preparation and new business originationContributing to the continued growth of the firm’s TMT franchise and client networkCandidate profileThe successful candidate is likely to have:Significant investment banking experience, ideally at experienced Associate or Vice President levelA strong track record of executing M&A transactions from initial preparation through to completionRelevant TMT sector experience, potentially across software, technology-enabled services, digital infrastructure, telecoms or mediaExcellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilitiesStrong project-management skills and the ability to lead multiple transaction workstreamsConfidence interacting directly with senior clients, investors and advisersExperience managing and developing junior team membersOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsA commercial, proactive and collegiate approachCandidates from leading investment banks, independent advisory firms, corporate finance boutiques and Big Four lead advisory teams will be considered.The opportunityThis position offers:A visible role within a growing and well-established TMT advisory businessMeaningful exposure to clients and senior decision-makersA strong pipeline of live and prospective mid-market transactionsGreater responsibility for deal execution, team leadership and originationA collaborative culture with limited hierarchy and direct access to senior bankersA clear opportunity for progression within the firmA competitive base salary, performance-related bonus and benefits packageThis search is being conducted on a confidential basis.
