Role Description The Vice Principal role is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Vice Principal will support the Principal in overseeing the daily operations of the school, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment. Typical responsibilities include supervising teaching staff, monitoring classroom instruction, and supporting curriculum implementation and assessment practices. The Vice Principal will help manage student behavior and wellbeing, communicate regularly with families, and collaborate with school leadership on academic and extracurricular programs. The role also involves coordinating schedules, maintaining compliance with school policies and relevant regulations, and contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsProven experience in school leadership or senior teaching roles, ideally as Vice Principal, Assistant Principal, Head of Department, or similar.Strong skills in instructional leadership, including mentoring teachers, supporting curriculum delivery, and using data to improve student outcomes.Demonstrated ability in student discipline management, pastoral care, and fostering a positive, inclusive school culture.Excellent organizational and administrative skills, including timetable management, policy implementation, and coordination of school events.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with staff, students, families, and external stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or teaching certification is strongly preferred.Experience working in international or multicultural school environments; familiarity with international curricula is an advantage.Ability to adapt to the local context in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and work effectively in a diverse team environment.High level of professional integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
