Location: Dubai, UAEExperience: Minimum 4+ years About the Role Robot24.com is looking for an exceptional Video Editor & Story Producer who can turn hours of raw footage into highly engaging, polished video content.

This is not a role for someone who simply executes editing instructions. We are looking for someone with an outstanding visual instinct who can review raw footage, identify the strongest moments, understand the story hidden within the material, and transform it into compelling short-form and long-form video content. You need to understand what makes people stop scrolling, what keeps them watching, and what makes a video feel premium rather than simply well edited. Your Responsibilities Review and organize large volumes of raw footage from shoots around the worldIdentify the strongest moments, reactions, quotes and sequences within the footageDevelop compelling narratives and story structures from raw materialEdit high-performing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube ShortsEdit long-form content for YouTube and other digital platformsCreate powerful openings and hooks within the first seconds of a videoUnderstand pacing, retention and storytelling — not just technically, but creativelyDecide what should be removed, shortened, emphasized or repositioned to make a story strongerCreate different edits and versions depending on the platformIncorporate subtitles, graphics, sound design, music and visual effects where they improve the storyMaintain an extremely high standard of visual quality across all Robot24.com contentCollaborate closely with Editorial, Social Media and Production teams What We Are Looking For You must have: Minimum 4 years of professional video editing experienceAn exceptional portfolio demonstrating both short-form and long-form workAdvanced professional editing skillsStrong proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci ResolveExperience with Adobe After Effects or comparable motion-graphics toolsExcellent understanding of sound design, music selection, colour correction and colour gradingStrong understanding of social-media formats, particularly Instagram, TikTok and YouTubeA deep understanding of hooks, pacing, audience retention and visual storytellingThe ability to turn unstructured raw footage into a clear and engaging storyExcellent visual taste and a strong sense of what feels modern, premium and relevantThe ability to work independently rather than waiting for frame-by-frame editing instructionsExperience working with large amounts of footage and managing professional editing workflowsExcellent attention to detailFluent English What Matters Most Technical editing ability alone is not enough for this position. We are looking for someone who can watch hours of footage and immediately recognize: Where is the story?What is the hook?What will make people keep watching?Which moments have viral potential?How can this footage become something people actually want to share? You should be equally comfortable creating a fast-paced 30-second social video and building a compelling longer-form story. You follow the evolution of digital video and understand why certain formats perform while others do not. Most importantly, you don’t need someone to tell you exactly what to cut.
