In this role, the Video Editor assembles raw footage into polished videos, selects and trims clips, and syncs audio to create cohesive narratives for various formats such as social media, advertising, and long-form content. Responsibilities include applying color grading, adding motion graphics or titles, and incorporating feedback from directors and clients to refine edits. The Video Editor collaborates with the production team to plan visual styles, maintain organized project files, and ensure timely delivery of all video assets. The role also involves staying current with editing trends and optimizing workflows for efficiency and quality.Qualifications Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling footage from pre-production through final delivery.Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain consistent visual tone and enhance overall image quality.Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling, branding, and visual impact.Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion/graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and the ability to follow brand guidelines and creative direction.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members on-site in Mangaluru.Good time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a strong portfolio demonstrating video editing and motion work is required.
