Video Editor / Videographer

BENO is a Dubai-based luxury lifestyle experiences company, expanding its in-house media team across yacht and watersports, automotive, desert experiences, and lifestyle production. We're hiring an in-office editor and videographer to own post-production across the library, working directly alongside the Head of Media and the marketing/media team on a daily basis.Role OverviewA hands-on, in-office role built around post-production: editing, color, and finishing BENO's video content across maritime, automotive, desert, events, social media, and brand commercial work, in direct collaboration with the Head of Media and the marketing/media team, with videography responsibilities as needed. The role is evaluated primarily on editing craft; camera work is a supporting skill.ResponsibilitiesEdit and finish versatile video content across maritime (yachts, watersports), automotive, desert experiences, events, brand commercial, and luxury lifestyle productions, covering structure, pacing, and colorBuild pacing, emotional storytelling, transitions, and visually engaging compositions consistent with BENO's cinematic approachFluent in social-media-native editing, current with platform-specific trends, techniques, and specs for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTokManage footage ingest, organization, and backup through the department's on-site NAS systemColor correct in DaVinci Resolve and handle sound designDeliver multiple formats optimized for Reels, TikTok, YouTube, paid ads, and other platform specsTurn around same-day and time-sensitive edits for events, social, and brand needsMaintain a consistent file-naming and archive structure across the production libraryOperate as videographer on productions when needed, covering additional angles, behind-the-scenes footage, or full shoots as requiredCoordinate handoffs with the remote editor on overflow or lower-priority projectsCommunicate clearly on timelines and flag delays earlyFlexible to work outside standard hours or on weekends when a production requires itQualificationsStrong editing portfolio or reel; this is the primary basis for hiring, ahead of camera workStrong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of sound designStrong AI literacy: comfortable using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Higgsfield across editing, ideation, and day-to-day production or communication tasks. This is a core requirement, not a bonus skillPresentable, professional, and clear in communication with the in-house team, partners, and anyone else involved in the department's productionsFluent in English, written and spoken, able to communicate and understand everything related to the scope of the workSkilled at cinematic, emotionally-driven cuts, not just fast-paced trend editsComfortable working in-office daily and iterating on cuts in real time alongside the teamOrganized and disciplined with file and archive managementWorking knowledge of video camera operation (Sony mirrorless and Cinema Line systems and lenses) for shoots and backup footageKnowledgeable in standard production tools and platforms (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Google Meet, Trello, and other tools relevant to the role)Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions when required, for example aboard boats or in the desert, given the range of environments across BENO's productionsComfortable managing multiple projects under deadlineMinimum 5 years of professional experience (Dubai experience preferred)Preferred QualificationsExperience editing luxury lifestyle, automotive, maritime, brand promotional, or documentary-style contentUnderstanding of Dubai's visual identity and storytelling styleFamiliarity with NAS-based or local media workflowsMotion graphics or simple animation skills (After Effects)Working Hours9:00 to 18:00 (Dubai time), in-office, with flexibility for shoots or urgent deliverables outside standard hours.
