About the roleThis is a senior, high-ownership role combining client leadership, hands-on craft and commercial responsibility. You'll manage key accounts, lead delivery across several projects at once, and play an active part in growing those accounts over time.You won't be waiting for briefs to land. You'll spot opportunities, bring ideas to clients before they ask, and treat the health of your accounts as your responsibility. It suits someone comfortable with autonomy and ambiguity, who makes judgement calls without asking permission first.Client ownership and growthOwn the day-to-day relationship with key clients and build trust with senior stakeholders by understanding their role, their pressures and what they're measured onIdentify opportunities to expand existing accounts through additional content, campaigns or improvementsTreat quiet periods as time to review accounts and propose new ideasWork with the Managing Director and marketing team to align production output with revenue goalsContribute to revenue targets through account growth and retention, not delivery aloneEach quarter you'll be expected to identify and pursue six growth opportunities across your accounts.Production and directionRun projects from brief to delivery, on brief, on schedule and on budgetDirect on-set shoots across interviews, brand films, events and documentaries, giving creative and technical leadership to crew, talent and clientsOperate camera, lighting and audio to a high professional standard, adapting setups to whatever the location throws at youEdit and colour grade to a high standard, in line with brand guidelinesTranslate briefs into visual treatments, storyboards and shot lists, including during pitch and pre-productionShape stories and structures that align with marketing objectives and land with the target audienceManage footage, backups and delivery workflows with precisionKeep budgets, SOWs, proposals, call sheets and risk assessments clear and accessibleCommercial accountabilityScope and quote projects accurately, balancing client needs with healthy marginsProtect margins through clear scoping, expectation management and freelancer negotiationDiscuss value, scope and commercial implications with clients directlyTeam and freelancersLead freelance crews with clarity and authority, and set the quality bar across every shootAddress underperformance directly and constructivelyBuild and maintain a pool of trusted freelancers at different price pointsMentor junior crew, producers and coordinators as the team growsProcess, AI and scaleFind inefficiencies in production, reporting and account workflows, and fix themExplore and implement AI tools to cut admin and help clients hit their objectives fasterBuild simple, practical SOPs that other people can actually followNew business and profileSupport pitches, proposals and new business conversationsCapture and make use of behind-the-scenes content for our own marketingRepresent Bold Content in client meetings and at events, and raise the profile of the business on LinkedInWhat success looks likeClients feel confident, supported and proactively guided.
