Video Producer

Studio 33 (www.thisisstudio33.com), a film production house in Bangalore, is looking to fill a full-time position of Producer at the organisation. Work would involve working closely with clients on their live action and animation requirements, communicating a comprehensive brief with the internal team and ensuring a quality output. Work with the team could include virtually, at the office, as well as on shoot locations. Correspondence with various vendors would also be required from time to time. Out of station travel to be expected. We are looking for some one who knows their stuff, is highly motivated, creative, detail oriented, hard working, loyal and who works well individually as well as in a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with clients on creating effective briefs.
• Converting those briefs into engaging scripts based on effective treatments. Script writing support required on certain projects.
• Working with the creative team (cinematographres, editors, motion graphic artists, illustrators) to produce effective films, both animation and/or live action, as per the client’s brief and expectations.
• Correspond with various vendors (voice over artists, equipment hiring agencies, studio rentals, etc) to engage the required services needed on a project to project basis. On occasion, sourcing of vendors would also be required, if no one suitable is availabe in our database.
• On location - you will be responsible for the coordination of the crew, client servicing as well as the direction of the shoot.

Qualifications

Education: A degree / dipolomo in either communication studies or film production is prefered. Work Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a producer / director / writer of corporate films and/or other client centric projects. Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

• Comprehensive undertanding of the process of client centric film production.
• Decent knowledge of cinematography, editing & post production.
• Basic understanding of the process of 2D animation / motion graphics / illustration.
• AI tools ( storyboard conceptualization / generation, script-to-video, AI voiceover, auto-captioning, AI-assisted editing/rotoscoping, upscaling, etc.) to speed up
• Excellent communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English. Conversational ability in Hindi. Conversation ability in Kannada and/or other south Indian languages would be considered a bouns.
• Strong project management skills
• Leadership skills - coordination of internal team as well as outside vendors.
• Ability to develop and apply creative, workable solutions to project-related issues. Our commitment to you:
