We value technical excellence, reliability, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Video Surveillance Systems Engineer / Security Solutions Specialist to support the design, integration, configuration, and optimization of video surveillance and security systems. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with practical problem-solving skills and can translate security requirements into reliable technology solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and support video surveillance solutions based on operational and security requirements.Configure, deploy, and maintain IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, VMS platforms, and related security equipment.Develop surveillance system architectures, camera layouts, recording strategies, and coverage requirements.Integrate CCTV systems with access control, alarms, intercoms, analytics, and other security technologies.Configure video-management systems, user permissions, recording policies, alerts, and monitoring functions.Troubleshoot camera, network, storage, connectivity, configuration, and system-integration issues.Analyze surveillance performance and recommend improvements to system reliability and coverage.Support remote system commissioning, testing, upgrades, and technical acceptance activities.Coordinate with vendors, system integrators, IT teams, security teams, and client stakeholders.Review technical specifications, equipment selections, proposals, drawings, and system documentation.Monitor system health, recording availability, storage capacity, device status, and performance indicators.Support video analytics, intelligent monitoring, and AI-enabled surveillance capabilities where applicable.Maintain accurate configuration records, asset information, technical documentation, and service histories.Assist with cybersecurity practices for connected surveillance and security infrastructure.Prepare technical reports, incident findings, system assessments, and improvement recommendations.Research emerging surveillance technologies and identify opportunities for security-system modernization.Requirements3+ years of professional experience in CCTV, video surveillance, security systems, systems integration, networking, or a related field preferred.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred.Strong understanding of IP-based CCTV, VMS, NVR/DVR systems, cameras, storage, and network infrastructure.Experience with surveillance system installation, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, or integration.Familiarity with network fundamentals including IP addressing, VLANs, PoE, switching, and connectivity troubleshooting.Understanding of access control, intrusion detection, intercom, video analytics, and integrated security systems is an advantage.Strong technical documentation, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret system diagrams, technical specifications, equipment documentation, and network architecture.Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate technical and non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with remote monitoring, diagnostic, ticketing, and collaboration platforms.Strong awareness of security, privacy, access-control, and cybersecurity considerations for surveillance systems.Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical priorities in a fully remote environment.Professional certifications are not required unless specifically relevant to the role.What We OfferFlexible part-time work with a fully remote arrangement.Opportunity to contribute to modern video surveillance and integrated security solutions.Exposure to IP cameras, VMS platforms, intelligent video analytics, and security technologies.Access to modern technical, monitoring, documentation, and collaboration tools.Competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities.Professional growth across surveillance engineering, systems integration, and security solutions.A collaborative international environment focused on reliability, innovation, security, and continuous improvement.
