Team members work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, customer service, and technical excellence are highly valued.Role Description The Video Wall Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, VA. This position is responsible for the setup, configuration, operation, and breakdown of LED and LCD video walls and related display systems for events of varying sizes and complexity. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading equipment, assembling and rigging video wall structures, connecting signal and power cabling, and ensuring proper image quality, alignment, and resolution. The role involves collaborating closely with project managers, audio and lighting technicians, and clients to execute show requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. The technician will also assist with routine equipment maintenance, inventory checks, and preparation of gear in the warehouse between events.Qualifications Experience with video wall systems, including installation, configuration, signal routing, and troubleshooting of LED/LCD panels and controllers.Working knowledge of general audio-visual systems (switchers, scalers, projectors, displays, cabling, and basic networking for AV) and related event production workflows.Ability to read and follow technical diagrams, floor plans, and event run sheets, with strong organizational and time-management skills.Comfort with physical work, including lifting and moving equipment, working on ladders or lifts as needed, and adhering to safety protocols.Strong customer service skills, including clear professional communication, teamwork, and a focus on delivering high-quality event experiences.Prior experience in live events, staging, or AV rental environments is preferred; certification or training in AV technologies is a plus.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical coursework or relevant industry certifications are beneficial.Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, depending on event schedules; reliable transportation to Alexandria, VA worksite and event locations.
