You should also understand what footage a story needs and the moment that makes an audience pay attention. You will work closely with the Global Correspondent before and during each assignment, helping translate the editorial angle into a practical filming plan and a strong visual story.Previous robotics experience is not required. Curiosity, preparation, and the ability to understand what you are filming are essential. What You’ll DoTravel extensively with our Global Correspondent to cover robotics stories around the world.Film on-camera interviews with CEOs, founders, engineers, researchers, and senior executives.Capture correspondent presentations, field reports, and location introductions.Film robots, product demonstrations, manufacturing processes, research activities, and real-world deployments.Cover major robotics events and exhibitions, capturing interviews, demonstrations, and relevant supporting footage.Plan interview setups and shot lists with the correspondent and editorial team.Manage camera operation, lighting, microphones, and audio monitoring during shoots.Capture supporting footage and sequences that help audiences understand the technology and give editors the material needed to build a complete story.Adapt to different locations, available light, background noise, limited space, and changing schedules.Identify visual opportunities during assignments and respond quickly to unexpected moments.Check footage and audio on location to ensure material is usable before leaving.Keep filming equipment organized and ready, and troubleshoot technical issues during assignments.Organize, label, and back up footage, providing clear handovers to the editorial and production teams.Represent Robot24.com professionally when working with companies, interview subjects, and event organizers.Who We’re Looking ForYou are an experienced videographer or camera operator who is comfortable working in the field and taking ownership of a shoot. You should have:A strong professional track record in videography, broadcast camera work, documentary filming, field reporting, or comparable production work.A portfolio demonstrating your ability to film interviews and tell stories on location.Strong technical skills in camera operation, exposure, focus, composition, and lighting.Experience capturing clear interview audio, including in challenging environments.A strong eye for visual storytelling and an understanding of how individual shots work together in an edited sequence. The ability to work independently on the technical aspects of a shoot while collaborating closely with a correspondent.Good judgment under pressure and the flexibility to adapt when access, schedules, or filming conditions change.Strong English communication skills.A professional, respectful approach when filming executives, engineers, researchers, and other interview subjects.Curiosity about technology and the willingness to prepare thoroughly before assignments.Residency in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE, with the ability to work from Dubai.Availability for frequent international travel, sometimes at short notice.A robotics background is not required. You must, however, be willing to learn enough about each company, product, and technology to recognize what matters visually and capture it clearly.A Key Role at Robot24.comThe Global Correspondent and Videographer / Camera Operator will work as a closely coordinated reporting team.Your footage will help audiences see how robotics is developing: what the machines can do, where they are being used, and who is building them. For the right person, this is an opportunity to combine international travel, technical camera work, and visual storytelling while helping build a global media platform focused on robotics. How to ApplyPlease submit your CV and portfolio or showreel, including relevant examples of interviews, field reports, documentary work, or event coverage. For each example, briefly identify your contribution — particularly what you personally filmed and whether you handled lighting and audio. We want to see your technical ability, your eye for a story, and the quality of work you can deliver on location.
