قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجPOSITION SUMMARY: The Virtual Check-In Receptionist is responsible for providing remote patient support, facilitating virtual patient check-in processes, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, registration assistance, and exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of patient interactions while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and accuracy. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced virtual environment, can efficiently navigate multiple systems simultaneously, and is committed to delivering outstanding service to both patients and healthcare providers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provides exceptional customer service to a high volume of patients through phone, email, text messaging, and other electronic communication channels. • Facilitates patient flow by conducting virtual patient check-ins, notifying clinical staff of patient arrivals, monitoring appointment delays, and communicating updates effectively to patients and care teams. • Accurately documents and updates patient demographic, billing, insurance, and registration information within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. • Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments. • Explains financial policies and patient responsibilities, collects payments when applicable, and documents transactions accurately. • Schedules, reschedules, and cancels appointments in accordance with physician protocols and practice guidelines. • Monitors scheduling queues, voicemails, electronic communications, and patient requests to ensure timely follow-up and resolution. • Maintains a secure, organized, and professional remote work environment while adhering to company standards and procedures. • Protects patient confidentiality and complies with HIPAA, privacy, security, and compliance guidelines established by the practice. • Meets established productivity, quality assurance, attendance, and service-level performance standards. QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum of 1 year of medical receptionist, patient access, healthcare customer service, or medical call center experience preferred. • Experience working remotely in a healthcare, customer service, or contact center environment is a plus. • Proficiency with NextGen or other electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems preferred. • Strong data entry and computer navigation skills with a high degree of accuracy. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications. • Ability to effectively manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously in a virtual work environment.
