About the RoleSpecialized Enterprise Systems (SES) is hiring a Virtualization Operations Engineer (L2) at a client site in Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for the operation, administration, maintenance, and support of the data center virtualization infrastructure. The role provides second-level technical support for virtualized environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability of virtual machines, hypervisors, and associated management platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain virtualization platforms to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability of hosted servicesProvide Level 2 technical support for virtualization-related incidents, service requests, and operational issuesManage and support virtual machines (VMs), clusters, templates, snapshots, resource pools, and virtual networking componentsPerform troubleshooting and resolution of virtualization platform issues, including compute, storage, networking, and hypervisor-related faultsMonitor infrastructure health, performance, capacity utilization, and resource allocation across virtual environmentsSupport provisioning, deployment, migration, cloning, and decommissioning of virtual machines according to operational proceduresPerform routine operational tasks, health checks, preventive maintenance activities, and system optimizationsRequirements5+ years of experience in data center virtualization operationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related fieldWilling to relocate to the client site in Saudi Arabia within 2 monthsStandard shifts with 24x7 on-call rotationSkills and TechnologiesVMware vSphere, vCenter Server, ESXiVMware vSAN and VMware NSXMicrosoft Hyper-V and System CenterNutanix AHV and PrismVeeam Backup & ReplicationDell VxRail, HPE SimpliVity, or Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) PlatformsMonitoring Tools such as vRealize Operations, SolarWinds, PRTG, or ManageEngineEnterprise Storage Platforms (Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, Pure Storage)Preferred CertificationsVMware VCP-DCV, Microsoft Hyper-V / Azure Administrator, Nutanix NCP
