Visiting Faculty- Logistics & Supply Chain

Position OverviewThe Faculty Member will contribute to high-quality teaching, mentoring, academic research, and departmental service. The role involves curriculum delivery, assessment, student support, and active participation in institutional development initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in subjects. Develop and update course materials in line with academic standards and industry trends. Supervise student projects, internships, and dissertations. Provide academic advising and mentorship to students. Contribute to curriculum planning, review, and development. Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and professional development programs. Engage in scholarly activities, research, and publications relevant to the field. Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners to enhance learning outcomes and employability. Qualifications & RequirementsMaster’s/Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from a recognized institution.Additional certifications/industry experience preferred (depending on field).Prior teaching experience at the university/college level is advantageous.Research publications, patents, or industry experience desirable.Fresh candidates with strong academic credentials may also be considered (for Assistant Lecturer/Instructor roles).Skills & CompetenciesStrong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to use LMS tools and digital teaching platforms.Strong organizational, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.Commitment to academic excellence and ethical professional conduct.Work EnvironmentClassroom teaching, office hours, administrative meetings, and occasional field work.Flexible schedule based on institutional requirements (may include evenings/weekends).
