Visual Effects Supervisor

Shiloh & Bros is a fast-paced, family-focused YouTube channel creating fun, high-energy, and imaginative video content for audiences of all ages. The RoleWe are looking for a passionate, creative, and skilled VFX Supervisor to help lead the visual effects vision across our YouTube productions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative storytelling and technical execution, working closely with our creative team from concept to final export.You will ensure every video hits the highest level of visual quality while maintaining our fun, family-friendly appeal.Key ResponsibilitiesHands-On Compositing: Personally composite key shots and high-visibility VFX sequences to ensure seamless integration.Creative Collaboration: Work alongside the directors, writers, and creative leads to translate ideas into doable, visually stunning VFX plans.Pipeline & 3D Integration: Oversee the integration of 3D elements/assets into live-action footage and supervise the end-to-end VFX pipeline.Pre-Production Guidance: Collaborate during pre-production and shooting to ensure shots are properly framed, lit, and captured for efficient post-production cleanup and keying.Quality & Consistency: Maintain high aesthetic standards and narrative consistency across all visual effects in a fast-paced digital environment.What We’re Looking ForStrong Compositing Background: High proficiency in major compositing software (e.g., After Effects, Nuke, or Fusion).3D Knowledge: A working knowledge of 3D pipelines, software, and asset integration (e.g., Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D). You don't have to know how to sculpt, retopo, texture, rig, and light a character, but you should be familiar with each of the steps taken.Passion for Family Content: A genuine love for family-friendly media and an understanding of the fun, colorful visual language that resonates with younger audiences and families.Love for Visual Effects: A deep enthusiasm for the art and craft of visual storytelling through VFX.Team Player & Communicator: Ability to translate abstract creative ideas into actionable technical plans and communicate smoothly with the broader production team.How to ApplyIf you love visual effects and want to make amazing, impactful content in the family media space, we’d love to hear from you!
