We hope you’ll join us and see what the smiling pink whale is all about.OverviewThe Wholesale Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for ensuring business initiatives and visual strategies are supported in all wholesale accounts. Wholesale Visual Merchandising should tie back to key buys and the experience in each account should represent current company initiatives and brand creative and standards.You WillMonthly & Biweekly Travel:In partnership with the home office, travel to wholesale accounts and free-standing specialty stores in the covered territories to work directly with in-store managers, account managers and district managersConduct regular walk- throughs, workshops and in person trainingStrategy & PlanningImplementing VM strategies in partnership with VM Harbor DriveFacilitate weekly VM calls to support effective planning and cascade the communication of compass visual strategies in partnership with district managers across focused marketsAssist stores in the planning of merchandising application through floor set and window planograms, marketing and VM solutions that require custom application directionTrainingCreate Individual VM agendas that focus on building Visual Merchandising skills and capabilitiesFacilitate hands-on training platforms inclusive of Mapping, Merchandising, Styling, Compositions, & reinforce the use of VM brand toolsSales Data Analysis& Performance TrackingAnalyze sales data and performance to ensure proper support for achieving provided sales targetsReact to sell-through and create custom VM solutions that align with the brand storyTrack success through both quantitative and qualitative learning insights, weekly business reporting, including weekly photo recaps and observationsShop MaintenanceCreate store visit reportsResponsible for assessment and follow-up of shop maintenance of fixtures & physical condition of shop to Harbor DriveManage tracking list to ensure display inventory, marketing collateral and identify missing elementsCommunicate noncompliance issues with Harbor DriveParticipate in shop & shop installations and manage the execution of the merchandising processesManage remote stores through various forms of communication (email, video, text) to ensure proper and constant lines of communication are establishedBuilding Career TalentParticipate in special projects: harbor drive compass walkthrough, new real estate, brand activations and seasonal grand openings in the IslandsWhat You BringMinimum 3 years experience as Visual Merchandiser or related experience Demonstrated visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolioSolid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilizationAbility to install creative (patch & paint, hanging, displays, etc.)Proficiency in Adobe Suite - InDesign, Photoshop. Illustrator and other visual design tools a plus.
