Team members have the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute directly to output and reliability in a growing automotive market.Role Description The VMC CNC Maintenance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based at the Vapi facility. The role involves performing routine and corrective maintenance on VMC and CNC machines, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems, to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, executing preventive maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs, and keeping accurate records of maintenance activities. The engineer will collaborate with production and quality teams to address machine-related concerns, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. The role also includes monitoring spare parts inventory, supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment, and responding promptly to breakdowns during operating hours.Qualifications Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for VMC and CNC machinery.Proficiency in Maintenance Engineering practices, including troubleshooting mechanical and control systems.Experience in Preventive Maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution for production equipment.Hands-on Electrical Maintenance skills for industrial machines, panels, and basic PLC interfaces.Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.Experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing environments, preferably with CNC/VMC machines.Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and electrical/mechanical schematics.Knowledge of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and industrial housekeeping practices.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced shop-floor environment.Willingness to work in shifts and respond to urgent maintenance requirements when needed.
