Applicants can expect a dynamic environment that values artistic growth, pedagogical quality, and performance opportunities.Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Vocal/Piano Teacher based in Abu Dhabi, with some flexibility for work-from-home activities such as lesson planning and online classes. The teacher will deliver individual and group lessons in vocal performance and piano, covering technique, repertoire, and performance skills for a range of age groups and abilities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching music theory and ear training, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to help learners achieve their goals. The role also involves organizing and preparing students for recitals, examinations, and events, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum and teaching methods, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and progress. The teacher may support online education initiatives by delivering virtual lessons and contributing to digital learning materials as needed.Qualifications Strong piano performance skills, including Piano Playing and Piano, with the ability to demonstrate technique and musicality clearly.Experience in Piano Education and Music Education, with proven ability to design and deliver structured lessons for different age groups and skill levels.Solid understanding of Music Theory and its practical application in both piano and vocal training.Proficiency in vocal technique and performance, with experience teaching voice across various styles (e.g., classical, contemporary, musical theatre).Relevant formal training or degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field; certification from recognized music examination boards is an advantage.Previous teaching experience in individual and group settings, ideally within a music school or performing arts environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a supportive and inclusive teaching approach.Ability to use basic digital tools and online platforms for hybrid and online lessons; familiarity with educational technology is beneficial.Organizational skills for scheduling, record-keeping, and event preparation; reliability and punctuality in managing classes and performances.Willingness to work some evenings or weekends for classes, recitals, and events as required by the teaching schedule.
