Melodica’s mission is to make the joy of music and dance accessible, inspiring, and life-changing within a supportive and creative community.Role Description The Voice Teacher will deliver high-quality, individual voice lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. This full-time, on-site role includes planning and conducting vocal coaching sessions, teaching music theory fundamentals related to vocal performance, and preparing learners for ABRSM, TRINITY, MTB exams, recitals, and other performance opportunities. The Voice Teacher will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and goals. Responsibilities also include maintaining lesson records, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum and events, and contributing to a positive, motivating classroom environment that reflects Melodica’s educational standards.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Vocal Coaching, Vocal Instruction, and delivering structured Voice Lessons for various age groups and levels.Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Music Theory and its application to vocal technique and performance.Candidates should have minimum of beginner level of piano skillsCandidates should possess experience in Music Education, including curriculum planning, student assessment, and exam or performance preparation.Demonstrated ability to work with diverse learners, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a patient, encouraging teaching style.Experience preparing students for graded music exams or public performances is highly beneficial.
