Educere Development Agency collaborates with a wide range of institutions and stakeholders and welcomes strategic partnerships, university collaborations, volunteering, sponsorship, and global programme opportunities.Role Description The Volunteer Partnerships & Community Engagement Lead is a full-time hybrid role based in Middlesbrough, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for developing and managing volunteer programmes, building and nurturing partnerships with schools, universities, community organisations, and corporate partners, and coordinating community engagement initiatives that support inclusive education, youth development, and family participation. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and onboarding volunteers, designing meaningful volunteer roles, organising outreach events and workshops, and ensuring volunteers are effectively supported, trained, and recognised. The role involves mapping community needs, maintaining partner relationships, preparing engagement materials and communications, and monitoring impact through data collection, reporting, and feedback. The post-holder will collaborate closely with internal teams to align volunteer and community activities with organisational priorities and contribute to funding proposals, sponsorship opportunities, and international programme development where relevant.QualificationsStrong partnership-building skills, including experience in Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships, with the ability to develop and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to engage diverse stakeholders such as volunteers, schools, community groups, and funders.Demonstrated Analytical Skills to assess community needs, interpret data, evaluate programme impact, and inform decision-making and continuous improvement.Experience in Sales or outreach-related activities, including stakeholder engagement, presenting opportunities, and securing commitments or sponsorships.Experience in volunteer coordination, community outreach, or programme management within education, youth, social-impact, or non-profit settings.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and balance on-site activities in Middlesbrough with remote tasks.Knowledge of inclusive education, SEND, youth development, or mental health and wellbeing is highly
