Location: Irving, TX (hybrid)Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)ResponsibilitiesSupport the execution of Country Risk Limits and Country Franchise Review (CFR) processes.Coordinate activities and stakeholder engagement across Country Risk, Treasury, Finance, Compliance, and Independent Risk teams.Prepare meeting materials, governance documentation, executive presentations, and senior management reporting.Ensure consistency, adherence to governance standards, and regulatory compliance across country risk processes.Support governance activities related to sovereign risk, country risk appetite, country limits, balance sheet risk, liquidity risk, public sector exposure, and country franchise strategy.Support the review and approval processes for balance sheet and liquidity limits associated with sovereign and public sector exposures.Conduct and coordinate country assessments, risk appetite reviews, governance reviews, strategic country considerations, and regulatory activities.Monitor sovereign exposures, country limits, liquidity metrics, and related risk reporting.Manage RAID items, escalations, key decisions, and governance actions across supported processes.Identify and implement process improvements, including standardizing documentation, streamlining reviews, enhancing reporting, and reducing manual processes.Support workflow automation and efficiency initiatives to improve data quality, process consistency, and reporting.Coordinate with senior stakeholders, including Country Officers, Country Risk Managers, Treasury, Finance, Compliance, and Independent Risk representatives.Qualifications4–5+ years of relevant experience in financial services, risk management, governance, regulatory processes, controls, business analysis, or program coordination.Experience within a global financial institution, central bank, credit rating agency, or multilateral/development institution is preferred.Understanding of country risk, sovereign risk, public sector risk, risk appetite, or financial risk frameworks.Experience supporting governance, risk management, regulatory, compliance, or control-related processes.Strong business analysis, process management, project/program coordination, and organizational skills.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with VP through Managing Director-level stakeholders.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, data analysis, large dataset management, reporting, tracking, reconciliation, and risk/governance metrics.Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills with experience developing executive presentations, governance materials, and senior management reporting.Experience with risk management platforms, governance/workflow tools, BPM platforms, or process automation is a plus.Experience with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI is beneficial but not required.
