VP, Data Transformation – Abu DhabiDiscover the OpportunityWe’re partnering with a leading financial services organisation in Abu Dhabi that is investing significantly in its AI and data capabilities.This is a senior, hands-on position focused on transforming how data is governed, managed, and made available for AI and analytics across the organisation. You’ll own strategic data transformation initiatives while working across Data, AI, Technology, Architecture, and Governance teams.The role is particularly focused on using AI to transform traditional data management, automating areas such as data quality, governance, lineage, and metadata management to enable AI initiatives to move into production faster and at greater scale.Discover the ResponsibilitiesDefine and deliver the organisation’s data transformation roadmap, ensuring data capabilities can support AI and analytics at scaleDrive the adoption of modern data management practices across governance, data quality, lineage, metadata, master data, and data productsUse AI, automation, and metadata-driven approaches to modernise traditionally manual data governance and quality processesIdentify and remove data and organisational bottlenecks that impact the delivery of AI and analytics initiativesEstablish scalable data transformation frameworks, standards, governance processes, and execution plansPartner closely with Data Science, Technology, Architecture, Governance, and business teams to improve enterprise-wide data maturityDiscover the RequirementsSignificant experience leading complex data transformation programmes within large-scale enterprise environmentsStrong expertise across data governance, data quality, lineage, metadata management, master data management, and/or data productsDeep understanding of modern data platforms, architectures, and enterprise data managementStrong understanding of the data requirements underpinning AI and machine learning, including data quality, feature engineering, model governance, and scalable AI deliveryExperience applying AI and machine learning to data management, such as automated lineage discovery, metadata extraction, or data quality assessmentStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business and technology functionsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical disciplineWhy Join?Take ownership of a major data transformation agenda within a highly ambitious AI environmentWork at the intersection of Data, AI, Governance, and TechnologyApply AI to fundamentally change how enterprise data is managed rather than simply implementing traditional governance processesPlay a highly influential role in creating the data foundations required to scale enterprise AI
