VP Economics

Job Title: VP EconomicsWe are seeking a motivated Economist to support macroeconomic research, market intelligence, and economic reporting across global markets.This role is responsible for producing high-quality economic analysis, contributing to regular publications, and supporting internal stakeholders with data-driven insights.

The successful candidate will monitor global economic developments, prepare forecasts, and assist in the delivery of thought leadership materials and strategic reports.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct macroeconomic research and analysis across key global marketsPrepare economic reports, commentary, and regular publicationsSupport the development of country outlooks, macro forecasts, and thematic researchMonitor economic data releases and assess market implicationsContribute to materials prepared for internal committees and senior managementAssist in managing research databases, statistical tools, and external data subscriptionsCoordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of research outputsSupport ad hoc research requests and bespoke analysisRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Market Research, or a related fieldMaster’s degree in Economics preferred12 years of relevant experience in an economic research function, preferably within a financial institution, consultancy, or research organizationProven experience writing macroeconomic reports and analytical publicationsStrong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with statistical toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to translate complex economic developments into clear, actionable insights
