This team owns the technical foundation behind production AI agents, including agent development, runtime infrastructure, integrations, reliability, scalability, security, and platform architecture.This is a role for an engineering leader who can operate close to the product, not just the technology. The successful candidate will work closely with senior product leadership to shape roadmap, challenge assumptions, and help define how AI agents should be built and deployed at enterprise scale.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the engineering organization responsible for the company’s core AI agent platformOwn the architecture, delivery, and reliability of production-grade agentic systemsBuild and scale infrastructure for agent runtime, tool use, customization, and integrationsOversee platform areas including scalability, reliability, authentication, authorization, and memory optimizationPartner closely with product leadership on roadmap, prioritization, and customer-facing outcomesBuild, develop, and lead senior engineering teams across platform, infrastructure, and applied AI product engineeringEnsure the platform is reliable, observable, secure, and capable of supporting enterprise customersHelp set the technical direction for one of the company’s most important AI product areasWhat We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will bring:Deep experience building or leading teams building production GenAI or AI agent systemsStrong engineering leadership across platform, infrastructure, or product-facing AI systemsExperience operating at meaningful scale, both technically and organizationallyStrong product partnership and the ability to shape roadmap, not just execute against itExperience with scalable infrastructure, runtime systems, distributed systems, or AI platform componentsA track record of building reliable, secure, enterprise-grade software productsThe ability to lead senior engineers and technical leaders in a fast-moving environmentClear technical judgment and the communication skills to work with product, design, research, and executive stakeholdersRelevant BackgroundsWe are particularly interested in candidates from:Advanced AI product companiesAI agent or agent infrastructure companiesApplied GenAI startupsMajor technology companies with deep AI/platform engineering depthLegal AI companiesProduct-led engineering organisations building complex AI systems at scaleProfiles that combine startup pace with prior big-tech scale exposure will be especially relevant.
