Location: Amsterdam - Hybrid – 3 days per week onsiteSalary: €140,000 to €160,000 per year + 20% bonusWe’re supporting a leading Utilities business in Amsterdam who are looking to appoint a VP of Data to lead and scale its enterprise-wide data strategy in the Netherlands.This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for shaping how data is used across the organisation, driving transformation across Data, Analytics and AI, and building the foundations required for long-term digital growth.You’ll work closely with executive stakeholders across Technology, Operations and the wider business to ensure data is treated as a strategic asset, while leading high-performing teams across Data Engineering, Data Platforms, Analytics and Governance.Key responsibilities:Own and deliver the organisation’s enterprise Data & Analytics strategyLead and develop senior Data, Analytics and Platform teamsDrive modernisation of the data landscape, including cloud and data platform transformationEstablish strong Data Governance, quality and ownership frameworksIdentify opportunities to embed AI and advanced analytics across the businessPartner with C-level and senior stakeholders to align data initiatives with commercial and operational prioritiesBuild scalable operating models across Data Engineering, BI, Analytics and AIOversee major transformation programmes and strategic data investmentsDevelop a strong data-driven culture across the organisationWe’re looking for someone with:Significant leadership experience across Data, Analytics or AIExperience operating at VP, Director, Head of Data or equivalent levelA strong background within large-scale, complex enterprise environmentsExperience leading data transformation and modernisation programmesStrong knowledge of cloud data platforms, Data Governance and enterprise architectureExperience building and scaling high-performing technical teamsStrong stakeholder management skills at executive and board levelExperience within Utilities, Energy, Infrastructure or another highly regulated industry would be highly advantageous
