Apply & track with Apply EdgeCompensation: $200-300k Base + Bonus + BenefitsLocation: North Denver, COResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the Platform Engineering and enterprise architecture strategy supporting growth and modernization.Lead CloudOps, SecOps, SRE, network, database, command center, and IT operations, building an accountable, high-performing organization.Own the architecture, scalability, security, reliability, and cost efficiency of cloud environment.Build self-service platforms and “golden paths” that enable autonomous engineering teams to deploy and operate services safely.Establish the infrastructure, permissions, guardrails, and governance that allow AI agents to perform operational work such as deployments, remediation, and infrastructure changes.Advance SRE, observability, incident management, disaster recovery, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, and automated remediation.Drive infrastructure automation using Kubernetes, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies.Strengthen security operations through zero-trust controls, vulnerability management, automated threat response, and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI-DSS requirements.Own cloud and AI FinOps, including infrastructure optimization, capacity planning, and governance of inference and token costs.Qualifications15+ years of experience across Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, Security Operations, Enterprise Architecture, or related disciplines, including 8+ years in senior leadership.Deep experience with AWS, cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.Proven success leading highly available, business-critical production platforms and 24/7 technology operations at scale.Experience building and leading teams across Platform Engineering, CloudOps, SRE, SecOps, networking, database, or related operational functions.Practical experience with AIOps, agentic tooling, AI infrastructure, or LLMOps, including the governance and guardrails required for safe production use.Strong knowledge of observability, incident management, disaster recovery, cloud networking, zero-trust security, and operational resilience.Experience owning technology budgets, cloud cost optimization, vendor strategy, and infrastructure investment decisions.
