VP, Science & Medical AffairsConsumer Diagnostics | Connected Health | Clinical EvidenceBased in Dubai, UAEOur client is a fast-growing health technology company developing innovative at-home diagnostic solutions that combine biotechnology, connected hardware, data science and AI.The company is looking for a VP, Science & Medical Affairs to establish its clinical evidence function, reporting directly to the co-founder and CTO, and support the development of its current and future diagnostic products.The successful candidate will shape the scientific and clinical strategy, challenge assumptions and drive execution, while progressively building a team.

Key Responsibilities

Build the clinical evidence function from the ground up and progressively develop the scientific and clinical team.Define the scientific and clinical roadmap, identifying new diagnostic applications and use cases.Lead clinical studies supporting product claims, new product launches, medical adoption and market expansion.Develop a robust evidence-generation and publication strategy, translating scientific findings into compelling product and value propositions.Develop strategic partnerships with CROs, KOLs, academic institutions and other clinical research partners.Ensure the medical and scientific credibility of product features, claims and AI-driven insights.Build and lead a Medical and Scientific Advisory Board.Represent the company at scientific conferences and other relevant external forums.Your Background :PhD, MD or an equivalent scientific background in endocrinology, OB-GYN, biomedical sciences or a related field.Significant experience in clinical research, medical affairs or scientific leadership within connected diagnostics, digital health or IoT.Strong expertise in clinical study design and evidence generation.Familiarity with diagnostic platforms and sensor or assay-based technologies.Ability to engage with and challenge senior scientific, technical and business stakeholders.A hands-on, data-driven approach and the ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment.FDA experience would be an advantage.This is an opportunity to establish a strategic scientific function and contribute directly to the clinical development of a new generation of consumer diagnostic products.
