The firm invests across a wide range of asset classes, including private equity, real estate, credit, infrastructure, growth equity, and specialized strategies, driving value through strategic capital deployment and operational support.Position SummaryOur client is seeking an experienced finance professional to join as Vice President within the Treasury group. This function oversees the financial control, accounting, and reporting frameworks for liquidity management, capital structures, corporate hedging, intercompany operations, and firmwide expense allocation mechanisms.Working closely with cross-functional leadership—including FP&A, technology partners, and business unit leaders—the Vice President will lead accounting operations, optimize reporting workflows, strengthen internal control environments, and scale technology-driven treasury solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Development: Mentor, direct, and grow a team of accounting professionals responsible for corporate expense frameworks and treasury accounting functions.Treasury & Capital Markets Accounting: Direct the accounting and financial reporting processes for firm liquidity, debt/equity funding structures, corporate investment portfolios, derivative hedging, and intercompany arrangements.Process Automation & Systems Optimization: Partner with internal technology groups to enhance the firm's treasury management platforms, automate ledger postings, and build scalable data solutions.Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee internal management reporting and external disclosures related to corporate treasury activities; collaborate with FP&A on P&L forecasting, budget variances, and executive insights.Internal Controls & Audit Management: Maintain robust SOX compliance frameworks; manage internal and external audit engagements for stand-alone entities and corporate financial statements.Risk & Cash Governance: Oversee corporate foreign exchange exposure strategies, hedge accounting applications, cash reconciliations, and intercompany settlement workflows.Cross-Functional Strategy: Partner with business unit finance teams to ensure accurate data flow, operational alignment, and transparent expense allocation methodologies.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience focused on corporate treasury, expense management, or capital markets accounting within financial services.Education & Certifications: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preffered.Background: Prior public accounting experience required.Technical Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, public reporting requirements, valuation of financial instruments, and accounting for derivatives and foreign currency transactions.Market Knowledge: Strong grasp of fixed income, equity markets, derivative products, and institutional treasury operations.Leadership & Execution: Proven track record of managing teams, driving continuous process improvement, and navigating complex corporate matrix environments.Communication: Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex financial matters to senior executive stakeholders.By submitting to this position, you are agreeing to be included in our talent pool for future hiring for similarly qualified positions.Equal Opportunity NoticeHighspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) and its parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries ("we," "our," or "Vaco by Highspring") are committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race (including but not limited to traits historically associated with race such as hair texture and hair style), color, sex (includes pregnancy or related conditions), religion or creed, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, status as a veteran, union membership, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, political affiliation, or any other protected characteristics as required by applicable law.
