The successful candidate will be required to relocate, with relocation support provided by the company. About the CompanyOur client is an established international aviation company with multiple entities and operations across international markets and a strong global presence.About the roleThis is a newly established leadership role created following the company’s rapid expansion. Reporting to the CFO, the VP Treasury will lead and further develop the Group’s treasury and financing function, defining the framework and strategy across multiple entities and business units, while building and scaling a global treasury team. This is a highly visible role with significant strategic impact.ResponsibilitiesLead execution of the Group’s financing activities, including securing and negotiating large-scale funding arrangements, bank facilities, and asset financing solutionsOversee the Group’s capital structure, including debt, loans, and third-party funding arrangements, ensuring compliance with financing termsOversee Group liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and scenario planning to support strategic decision-makingAct as the primary counterpart to banks and financial institutions, managing relationships and negotiating financing terms and conditionsLead the Group’s treasury function across multiple entities, building and developing the treasury structure, processes, and operating frameworkNegotiate banking terms to optimize the overall cost of banking and financing across the GroupProvide strategic treasury reporting, financial analysis, and insights to senior managementDrive the development and implementation of treasury policies, governance frameworks, internal controls, and systems across the GroupBuild, lead, and develop a global treasury team across multiple business unitsLead cross-functional finance and treasury projects aligned with the Group’s growth strategyOversee treasury controls and bank account structures across all Group entities
Requirements
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or ACCA qualification; ACT, CTP or other relevant treasury qualifications are an advantageMinimum 10 years’ experience in treasury and financing, including experience in a similar senior treasury role within an international environment with responsibility across multiple entities and locationsProven experience raising and securing financing for company assets and operational needs, including negotiating funding facilities with banks and financial institutionsExperience in treasury risk management, financial analysis, and treasury systems and technology, including implementation or development of treasury processes and systemsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards under pressureStrong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interpret and communicate technical accounting and treasury mattersHighly motivated, strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, able to operate effectively at senior management level in a fast-paced international environmentExperience in aviation, transportation, logistics, asset-intensive businesses, or another relevant international industry is an advantageWhat the Company OffersThis is an opportunity to take on a newly established senior leadership position within an established international aviation company, with responsibility for developing the Group’s treasury and financing function and supporting its continued growth.A relocation support package is available if required, along with a comprehensive benefits package including a company car, private insurance, and other company benefits.
