Myhealth is committed to sharing the benefits of innovation and growth with both doctors and patients while fostering a supportive, patient-focused environment.Role Description This is a full-time (4 days a week plus Sat AM roster), on-site VR General Practitioner role based at Myhealth Enfield (Croydon Park), NSW. The GP will provide comprehensive primary care, including consultations, diagnosis, management of acute and chronic conditions, preventative health, and health education for a diverse patient population. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, ordering and interpreting investigations, prescribing medications, coordinating referrals to specialists and allied health providers, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The GP will work closely with practice staff, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver team-based, holistic care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Participation in clinical meetings, adherence to evidence-based guidelines, and commitment to continuous professional development are expected.Qualifications Current FRACGP or equivalent vocational registration, with unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner.Demonstrated skills in comprehensive primary care, including chronic disease management, preventative health, and acute care.Strong patient communication, active listening, and shared decision-making skills to support person-centered care.Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals.Competence in using clinical software, electronic medical records, and digital tools for prescribing, referrals, and results management.Commitment to professional ethics, clinical governance, and adherence to relevant guidelines and regulatory requirements.Interest in ongoing learning, quality improvement, and participation in practice development and training activities.Experience in community general practice in Australia and familiarity with Medicare billing and practice workflows are highly regarded.
