Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared VTOC Operations Specialist joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.How a VTOC Operations Specialist will make an ImpactAs a VTOC Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining state-of-the-art AV systems. You will work closely with both on-site and remote users to ensure optimal performance of AV equipment, coordinate upgrades, and provide expert support for a wide range of audio-visual technologies.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement AV systems including video conferencing, digital signage, and presentation systemsInstall, configure, and maintain AV equipment such as projectors, displays, sound systems, and control systemsTroubleshoot and resolve complex AV issues in a timely mannerManage AV network infrastructure and ensure integration with existing IT systemsPlan and execute AV system upgrades and migrationsProvide training to end-users on AV equipment and best practicesDevelop and maintain documentation for AV system configuration and processesCollaborate with IT teams to ensure AV systems align with overall technology strategyManage inventory of AV equipment and coordinate with vendors for procurement and maintenanceEnsure AV systems comply with security protocols and accessibility standardsStay current with emerging AV technologies and recommend improvements to existing systemsRequired skills:Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in AV systems design, installation, and maintenanceWilling to obtain and maintain a CI PolyStrong knowledge of AV technologies including video conferencing, digital signal processing and control systemsExperience with AV network protocols and IP-based AV systemsProficiency in AV system design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Visio)Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex AV issuesSecurity+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hireAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to provide occasional after-hours support for critical AV systemsAbility to lift and move equipment up to 50 poundsComfort working at heights (e.g., on ladders or lifts) for equipment installationDesired skills:CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certificationExperience with Crestron, Extron, or AMX control systemsKnowledge of acoustics and audio system designFamiliarity with HDCP, EDID, and other video standardsExperience with digital signal processors (DSPs) and audio networking protocolsUnderstanding of AV over IP technologiesFamiliarity with AV security best practices and compliance requirementsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $105-$115k.
