Working at The Twenty Two offers exposure to high-end hospitality standards and diverse clientele in one of London’s most iconic districts.Role Description The Waiter & Junior Waiter role is a full-time, on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom. In this role, you will welcome guests, present menus, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages in line with The Twenty Two’s service standards. You will ensure tables are set and maintained, support smooth service between the restaurant, bar, and kitchen, and respond promptly to guest requests and feedback. Daily responsibilities include liaising with kitchen and bar teams, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining areas, and processing payments with attention to detail. Junior Waiters will support senior team members with runner duties, clearing tables, and preparing service stations, while developing toward full waiter responsibilities.Qualifications Strong customer-focused mindset, with proven Customer Service skills and a genuine commitment to creating positive guest experiences.Knowledge of Food & Beverage offerings, including menu items and basic pairings, with an understanding of Food Service standards in a premium restaurant setting.Clear, professional Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and collaborate with colleagues and managers.Basic familiarity with Cooking or kitchen operations is beneficial to understand preparation times, ingredients, and special requests.Previous experience in hospitality, ideally in hotel, restaurant, or members club environments.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operation.Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment.Right to work in the United Kingdom and proficiency in spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
